Ok, these are the highest spec I can afford. But which one?

Duron 1200MHz approx £68
It uses the new Morgan core
It is 66MHz faster than the Athlon-C
Not as many heat problems

Athlon-C 1133MHz approx £73
266MHz FSB
more cache

Can anyone help me decide?

I'll go with the Athlon... and when youre overclocking, you'll need good cooling anyway, and that's more challenging if you have heat problem ( though it will cost you more )... the 1.133G Athlon is surely better than the 1.2GDuron...

What about the Duron's new Core? Will that make a difference?

The 1.1 tbird will be faster but may not overclock as well from what I have seen..but I dont know how well the 1.2ghz durons will overclock...wish i did...

A 1.33GHz tbird is only about £10 more - maybe I should go for that?

WoW! The Duron 1200 can even beat a P4/1500 sometimes!!
