a Pentium IV power supply socket and an ATX one's? I'm planning to buy a casing ( I love the looks of the case ) with a PSU for a P4, but my mobo is with an ATX power supply connector...need some advice here...thanks!!!!

Some psu's come with the standard ATX and P4 connectors, i know mine did.

The large, standard power connector that you're used to is the same. Pentium 4 boards usually have a second power connector (see below) that is required.
The PSU should work fine for your mobo.
