I had win98se running on my machine. I have a GeForce 2 MX , Duron 650 and 384M PC133 RAM. 3Dmark score (2001) was 1832. When I ran it on XP (with the default XP GeF 2 MX drivers) I got 1760. Not too bad. When I installed nVidias drivers my score was 2217!!!
How could this happen? Are the drivers REALLY that important?

Hardware is only as good as the drivers that run it.

I never expected an increase of 500 though!

hardware is only as good as its drivers as the post before me said..:burn: But hardware tweaks also help out...
