OKAY...
This is my idea..
Delta..
- What you need
(1) 6 Pack of 1.5V Double AA Batteries
(1) Battery pack that can hold 6 1.5V AA Batteries
(1) Toggle-switch
(1) Delta 7000 RPM..
----How it works...----
The Delta fan comes with a 3 Pin Motherboard adaptor connector.
You cut that off, There is a red and black wire.
You seperate the two, On your Battery pack there's a negative and a positive.
Red - Positive
Black - Negative
I Believe that the circular one is Positive... And the one that has side's is negative.. There's only 2 of em, Pretty simple to figure out..
Those Double AA 1.5 Volt Batteries generate enough power for the 7000 rpm fan, (12v) Delta fan..... That is sufficent to cool any Athlon or Processor out.
If you're having power problems, You can have that battery pack sitting on the top of your case.... Generating cool to your CPU... And if you're worried about running out of battery..It'll easy run a few days without turning it off.
Or ... If you have a Celron 400, or a cpu that doesnt have a 3 pin for a case fan, And you dont feel like buying a adaptor... Then go ahead and put a delta on there....... Do the battery pack method.. Or if you just would think its kinda cool, You could build yourself a fan for just your room or somethin, Just to toy with....Then again, You could have it blowing on your hard-drive, or all your bays.
And you can just turn it off and on the fan..... With your toggle switch, It seems sorta worthless, But i was bord... I have one myself... Beaming on my Hard-Drive.. Personally i think that it helps my hard-drive alot... (Damn IBM 7200 RPMS..)
Cost: $15 Dollar's or so
Where: Radio Shack...
Time: 5 Minute's...
Enjoy...
