Ive heard the ones with the lucent chips in them are very good, id check in the internet and networking section... iirc there was a thread on this that gave some good information, just do a search over there and you should find what your lookin for

I think every test and benchmark I've read says the USR (or 3Com) modems are absolutely the best.
