Bioshock Crashing & The Update

Hey guys, i installed Bioshock last night again, and played for a few min. until it crashed on me. Did this happen for you guys with the stock game. And does the v1.1 patch fix this?

Also, why wont my settings stay as i set them.

What type of crashing? Does it just crash the game or do you get like red dots on your screen?

Or does it lock up your whole system?

The game just shuts down. I think xfire has something to do with it.

The only problem I ever had with the game was the sound keep cutting in and out or was just out. That I fixed by just buying a card.
