I went to my local Wal-Mart and picked up Dawn of War Warhammer 40k Platinum Edition. I got excited cause i remember playing that game a while back and it was sure fun, stick the disc in click the install and it asks for the 2 cd-keys one for the game itself and one for the expansion i put the game cd-key in and then i put in the expansion cd-key and OH whats this it only gives me 4 boxes with 4 letters/numbers but the install key requirements is 5 boxes with 4 letters/numbers...WHERES THE LAST 4 DIGITS IN MY KEY CODE!!! i cant install the game without it wtf???????

Uhh, the key codes are on the individual game manuals on the back. IIRC.

That was like when I first got BF2, I couldn't find the cd keys anywhere, and then just before I went to exchange it I knocked the manual out and when I picked it up I saw the cd key was on the back!

uhhh i dont think your understanding my problem here...let me show you some photos so you can understand what im tying to get at here......see how the installer asks for 4 sets of 4 digit keys bu for the Winter Assault expansion it asks for a 20 digit code instead of a 16 digit code. Now look at the back of my game manual where the cd-keys are...the winter assault code only has 16 digits instead of the required 20 digits....any ideas?

I had a problem like that with I think it was Dungeon Seige II, the CD Key on they gave me was missing like 5 digits, I emailed their support about it never heard back from them so I brought the game back & threw a stink b/c I didn't want an exchange & ended up talking to a manager & got my money back. :)

this is rediculous man, i also bought a 60 day WoW card yesterday and i didnt even have a card in it and wal-mart wouldnt reimberse me or let me get another or anything so im out 32 bucks there too. god im ****ed off no card in my box, the keys are completely wrong for dawn of war..GAH!!!!!!!!!!! :mad::mad::mad:

From the link you provided, I'd say that at the very least they're helping out the people who purchased the game with minimal amount of fuss. Just email them what they ask for (JPEG copies of the back of the game manual and the game discs, and optionally a copy of the receipt) and they'll email you a new key.

I have the Gold edition and didn't have this problem.

However, my Guild Wars Factions key wouldn't workq at some point. Sent them a pic and they disabled it in their system and emailed me a new one.
