How to hookup Logitech Z680 speakers to X61 laptop with X6 dock?

I have Logitech Z680 speakers that I use with my PS2 and sometimes to watch movies through the PS2. I use optical output for this.

Now I want to connect the speakers to a Lenovo X61 laptop with the X6 Ultrabase dock.

Unfortunately this laptop does not have any audio ouputs besides the headphone outputs. I have tried to plug in the analog (3 wires) wires into the headphone jack and that works but I can only plug in one at a time so I only get some of the speakers working.

Anyone know a good solution.

Also, I realize that I will lose some quality and it won't be true surround sound.

Right, so that system uses 3 minijacks for analogue input, rear, front, and center.

What you want to do is any of the following:

1) buy a better soundcard (external) for your laptop like an extigy

2) go to a HIFI store and explain the situation and buy something like a 3 into 1 3.5 miniplug adapter
