I'm still going to ditch this card but it overclocks pretty good
went from a 182mhz memory to 250mem without ramsinks or anything I think the 92mm fan I have blowing to the side helps a bit though. The core went a bit past 300mhz originally at 250
I was still getting low 3dmarks though highest i could get was 3400... probably because my hard drive performance was reduced a bit from formatting in ntfs, so last night I formatted it in fat going to 3dmark soon

I hate to say it but if you can after the holidays think about an exchange to a retail. The bottle neck is in the RAM so you want the best you can get right? Anyway check out the 9005(9x) or 6006(XP) versions floating around for your OS, they do very well in benches and some games.

Im very happy with my retail but I got lucky picking the right box at CompUSA. Best OC and 3D# are in sig.

Mykex, well I see it is gonna take me a bit too catch your new 3D Mark2K1 score. BTW nice oclock on the mem. I am gonna install the new driver for vid card, update my mobo bios and the 4in1 via drivers and give a go.

I think I can go over the 5500 hump, currently at 5024 using 342/281

Yea its those Dell Mobility7500 driver that have been rehacked for all OS'es Maximum reboot has them along with a few others LINKY (http://www.maxreboot.com/article.php?sid=3173) . Install those then the "37" 4in1s and I was suddenly wisked ahead.

Have you also upgraded to the 4.10 agp driver. I have just upgraded to my mobo's newest bios, I will install this new 7500 driver from your link and I have the new 437's plus the new agp driver, I am hoping for at least a 300-500 pt gain, gonna go for it bigtime, LOL.

Well if your "trying" for a pure high score ,remeber the most basic trick drop your multi and push your FSB as high as you can. My best is with a 9x155.5 even though 3D# shows 140 (going to correct sig to reflect). I guess I can run there I just get unnerved doing it with Kingston 133 from Dell without at least heat spreaders. :eh?: I dont want to replace anything right now because of pushing too hard. ;) Its my best OC and runs fine, boots up with all my 7 items in the toolbar, I just dont trust it.
