Okay... im so mad...
I got my Hercules GeForce3 TI500 the other day, and while trying to install the drivers, it went all screwey. Well i installed them all and got everything working properly. I fired up 3DMark2001, and when i go to Benchmark it, it just restarts my computer. Okay... i tried it three times but restarted each time. So i try Counter-strike. I use D3D, just like 3DMark uses, and when i double click to go into a game, my computer restarts on its own again! Well i dont know whats wrong. I cant run any benchmarks or play any games at all. Me thinks it the drivers, but i dont know what to do. Help a fella out, fellaz :)

Thanks a lot,

Matt

Heh...
I was running a SiS 8MB video card... it was blazing fast!! haha. But im running Windows XP, 1.4 Athlon, 512mb Corsair PC-2400, Soudblaster Live! 5.1, Plextor 24x/10x/40x, Pioneer Slot Load DVD, IBM 40 gig, EPoX 8K7A+, Enermax 431w whisper. Thats about it. I will try the newest drivers out from Nvidia.

And also, whats a score i should see for my TI500 in 3DMark2001?

Thansk again...

Oh yeah, every time i restart start my system up again (this has been ever since i got the video card), i always get that message, "Windows has recovered from a fatal error, blah blah," with that "Send" and "Dont Send" buttons at the bottom. Thats starting to really irritate me... just doens't seem right.

Thanks

This sounds like the nv4_disp.dll thing with nvidia's drivers. Do a search in these forums for a fix.
