Call me Dumb, but how do you beat the Boss 1 on RTCW?

I've never had to ask about a game before. But I'm stumped. I cannot get past the Boss 1 in RTCW. I'll shoot till I'm all out of ammo, and nothing. I've looked around for places to go and nothing. I'm starting to lose interest in the game now.

Any tips or advice? I have a feeling it's something so obvious I'll feel like an idiot when I get the answer :).

you are talking about the boss at the church right?

well that hole you come out of and there he is at the opening.

i just ran around got his attention, shot at him then ran back to where i started the level at. he cant get in there and wont even try to, then reload, go out after him, shoot shoot shoot, then back into the hole for reload. that is how i beat that level.

if it's big fat church zombie guy, ya, you seriously unload some ammo on him.

I used the mauser rifle after a lot of mini gun clips. just blast him, then run down to the hole where you started and then wait a few mins then head up and blast him again.

as soon as he starts to attack, run away!!

anyway you'll get it.

that's what I've been doing, but I keep running out of ammo. Then I gotta resort to knifing him. I guess I used my ammo a bit foolishly, so i don't have much.

I kept throwing grenades at him. Run out from my hole, toss a nade at him, run away! repeat as needed, once out of nades... unload the guns.

I finally killed him. Just got to impatient I guess. uloaded all the ammo, then gernades, then knifed hime till he died. Thanks guys. Did'nt help that I started playing Undying as well.

wow you killed him with the knife! that was hard took a long time but with the knife it would be super hard to kill him.

ok...here's stupid question #2.....how do you get out of the church? I killed all the nazi chicks and found the secret skull room, I get to the room with a wooden door with a bar across it and cant go any further, and the metal door across from where you enter wont open either...I retraced everything but cant seem to go any further...any advise anyone?

go in the vent I think that is how you do it. post pic cuz I don't remember.

I hope we're on the same map here:D Go to the door with the bar across it and shoot it 'til it breaks, then you'll be able to open the door. Let me know if I'm on the right map;)

heh yea that was it, lol...5 seconds worth of bullets. tried a few rounds before but didn't want to waste ammo :p thanks
