NCIXUS had the sapphire for $218, but when they finally came back in stock the price jumped $60. Amazon has the HIS 3870 for $234 with a $20 MIR, but it's on "preorder". Basically they've backordered the units into eternity. I placed an order for one almost 2 weeks ago, no word on a ship date, but people who ordered it have received cards, I think it's like a 2-3 week wait.

i payed the extra 10 bucks and got one that was in stoc at ncixus i would rather pay that and have a card then wait until after x-mas vacation is over from work

With the $20 MIR + $30 off with the Amazon visa, I save $35 off of the MSRP, $45 compared to what you paid. It's not like we all don't have video cards anyway, so what's wrong with waiting a little bit for a better price?

I am waiting on the gfx card to move me to a whole new platfrom i am still on a Socket A and APG(x800pro) I can't play any of the current games on it I can play bf2 with is what i mostly play with all the scrims my clan sets up and tf2 at very low fps. I have cod4 on the way and wana play bf2 at more than 25fps i have 2142 sitting here gathering dust along with some of my girlfriends games that she gets no time to play so i am giving my old compter to her.

"Sold out online", at least the 3870 is. Haven't seen it change from that in a while, though I don't sit refreshing the page.

To be honest, I doubt you will get your card from NCIX in time for Christmas. they are severely backed up right now and orders are taking upwards of three business days (Mon-Fri) to be processed before they are even shipped.

Call them tomorrow and give them your order number, tell them it's important and they will usually rush it through ;)
