Anyone have Half-Life 1 Source as a gift on steam?

Does anyone happen to have HL1 Source as a gift on steam that i can have? I never played the game but i went al through the HL2 game and EP1 AND EP2. I have Half-Life 2 as a gift so if anyone wants it i will trade for Half-Life 2 for Half-Life 1.

Lego its not worth it. The only differences is the Water. Now there is a small group been working on a real HL1 Source mod that is looking to be fantastic. I would wait for that.

You could probably find it for relatively cheap at like, Gamestop or something, or you could pick it up off of Steam. It's only $10 or so.

It's worth it, I think. It's a very good game!

Unfortunately, I have to agree with you...

I REALLY hope they prove us wrong but already, going from HL2 to EP2, the quality jump in graphics is astonishing and I don't know if the black mesa source guys are waiting to implement this or what the delay is but IMO, HL2 is plain ugly at this point. It's finally starting to show it's age and even with the fakefactory cinematic mod improved textures, it's not a totaly texture overhaul so some stuff looks awesome and some stuff still has the old bland textures.

Vavle improved a lot of their textures, shading, lighting, etc in EP2 that I just wish SO bad that they would move over to HL2 and EP1.

anyways, yeah I guess these newer games like COD4 and crysis have just spoiled me rotten at this point becuase 5 or so months ago when I got back into HL2 to prepare for orange box, I was like "man this game is old but still looks really good". I started playing again a couple of weeks ago and now I'm like "Man this game looks like ass" :/

You know what I'm reallly really really really REALLY hoping will happen and I haven't been to the black mesa source forums in ages but I'm hoping that somehow valve and the BM source guys have been collaborating on implementing all of the new features (if there are going to be new features) of the EP3 source upgrade into BM source and willl release BM source in the package with EP3.

I would probably go into a coma if that happened... when I awoke from the coma, I would attach a urine and colostomy bag to myself and play through all of BM source, HL2, EP1, 2 and then 3 all in one sitting. I'd do it.

As much as I can hope that happens, it probably won't and by the time BM source is finished (if it ever is) it will be old and outdated looking :(
