View Full Version : Audigy Problems
I just upgraded to the Soundblaster Audigy Platinum. Since I first installed it, it does not play properly in my Musicmatch Jukebox. I hear a lot of crackles and pops. It works fine in Remote Center or Playcenter, but it does not work in Musicmatch Jukebox 7.0. Is it just me, or does anybody else have this problem? I want to try and get this solved, as I love Musicmatch and this Soundcard. They just dont seem to work together. Please Help!!!

I have the same problem. All I did was tyurn down the volume in musicmatch and then turn it up or down on your speakers. The only problem with mine is the speakers can not handle the Audigy.
I tried turning down the volume in musicmatch and no luck. Version 6.1 is better than 7.0 but I still get that annoying jitter or pop in my music. There is no problem with Creative Playcenter, but Musicmatch is ten times better.

I've never noticed this problem. Reguarding my Klipschs, they cannot handle the Audigy full volume, they could with the Live, not anymore.
: )
Well guys, I have found the problem. I went to boot up my PC yesterday and I got a "stop error" BSOD before the OS loaded. I was forced to reformat using WinME and after spending a whole day installing all my stuff everything is back to normal, except no WinXP. My Audigy works perfect with WinME. No problems what-so-ever. It seems that the Audigy soundcard had some issues with WinXP. Anyways, I am using WinME until Microsoft gets the bugs fixed in WinXP.

:( I miss XP
 everything works
I recently changed my new Audigy (1 day old) for a VideoLogic Sonicfury because of compatability problems with my Mobo (Asus A7V266-E) & the Via266A chipset.
My system then ran great, no probs. at all! I have since upgraded to Win.XP & am having strange probs. with sound simular to the Audigy?? when I was using Win98SE.
Apparently there is a bug which Via are aware of to do with PCI Latency timing along with some other issues. I think all we can do is wait for the new patches to come out.
4in1437 have not improved anything for me!
