View Full Version : Floppy Drive Issue
Basically I am trying to get my matrix drivers onto a floppy drive so i can re-install a fresh windows.
BUT....I have tried three different drives and two different cables but to no avail. I have no idea what im doing wrong.
I get into windows and double click with a blank floppy in the drive and windows asks me if i want to format it....so i click yes but then it says there is no disk in the drive.
Any ideas...I feel like im missing something really stupidly simple.

What, you didn't have a solid light on the floppy drive the whole time indicating the cable issue?

"I apologize for my ignorance."
That's O.K.
Floppies have become old tech and lately I have found that allot of people have either forgotten how to connect/use them or flat out don't know what it is (younger folks).
Anyone remember 5.25 floppies run as hard drives?
