Hi im new at this and need a lil help

Hi im new at this and i was wondering if someone can tutor me int he right direction.
I have a P5B-VM with a duo core 6600 @ 2.40GHz

Right now just messing with the bios i got it overclocked @ 2.56
with 2 gibs of ram

The question is. how much can i get out of this board and CPU?
and how can i go about it.
right now im using the board video waiting ont he video card to arrive.
So hopefully someone can help me over clock this CPU.
or what other board would work better?
