View Full Version : Installed my Leadtek GeForce 3 Ti500
What are some of you getting out of your card? My CL GeForce 2 Ultra ran for a year @ 500 with no problems. Just was curious what others were getting from their Ti500 before I started "cranking it up". I would think 550 should be obtainable. Thanks, Kent :)
From what I see on forums around the place 550-570 is a given and if you are into super-cooling 590 is not impossible.
Hope you enjoy your new card.:)
well considering ive heard of ppl gettin there ti200s to ti500 standard (lots of cooling and added ram sinks etc) u should be able to get 620+ with the same sort of cooling for yours.
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
^^^ person might of been a lyin git tho lol
Well, it's running at 250/550 right now. Raised my 3D2001 score 116 points from default 240/500. Have you guys seen the heatsink on these cards??? I'm not into supercooling yet, so for now it's only a couple of extra fans. Doubt I try to go any higher than this. Thanks, Kent :)

Kent no need for supercooling, but the best performance without going to H2o cooling for the GPU is by using an Iu rackmount cooler like an Alpha pal 15u or 153
An IU cooler puts the stock cooling and all ORBS to shame.

There are many IU coolers more affordable than an Alpha pal 15u generally they range in price from $9.99-$30

What would Alpha's web site be? I'm looking into more cooling for my GF3 and not willing to by a new waterblock for it...yet.

Do you guys think running it at 250/550 will cause any damage? I wouldn't think so since it's only a 10% overclock.

Huh??.. Ofcourse nut. I've just got my GF3 Ti200 oc'ed@ 230/551 w/ stock cooling and runs so well and cleanly. No artifacts of any kind. Will try little more oc in the future.
Well, I've never had a Leadtek so I wasn't real sure about them. Thanks, Kent :)
