Okay give me on your input on this guyz. I need a hard drive that reads fast. So I was thinking of the IBM 60gxp 40gb ata100/ 7200rpm/8.5ms but that kinda cost a lot. So I was thinking what matters more rpm?ms?ata100? If there was one thing I can leave out let me know. I've seen some drives that are ata100/8.9-9ms/7200rpm and others like ata100/8.9ms/5400rpm. Let me know fellas.

RPM is the most important part...next would be ATA100. However I'm not even sure you can buy a 7200 RPM drive anymore that isn't ATA 100 or better.

The GXP 60 is a very fast drive. Check out newegg.com; they have the 40 GB model for $90 or the 60 GB model for $112.
