hi all zipzoomfly has a deal where this board ends up being $60

I have built many a systems, but have been out of the loop for a while, so I just want to get modern system with a decent MB/cpu to play some of latest games without
spending too much, actually I am pretty cheap, and once I have a system, I prob won't upgrade for a few years and just play mostly same games (preferably at high res and details on)
HL2, UT04, and maybe UT3 is system is good enough

I was thinking of going to a
1) Intel Core 2 Duo E4500 or a E6550
2) 8800GT vid card
3) a motherboard recommended by this thread.

can anyone comment on the
"FOXCONN P35A Core 2 Quad Socket 775 1333MHz PC2-8500 (DDR2-1066) ATX"
http://www.zipzoomfly.com/jsp/ProductDetail.jsp?ProductCode=10005475
board (any issue, success in overclocking)

they also sell
"FOXCONN P9657AB-8EKRS2H Core 2 Quad Socket 775 1066 MHz PC2-6400 (DDR2-800) ATX"
they also sell this for the same price after rebate

heck, maybe foxconn is not the way to go, I am just looking at cheap and the rebate seems
to make a good board seem very attractive, i dig the $50 prive range
currently have a
1) AMD athlon 64 3000+
2) asus A8N SLI,
3) one 6600GT PCI express 128M DDR3 video card

maybe an upgrade is not even warranted, not sure, I am just willing
to upgrade if I can get a significant improvement

thanks so much, the rebate offer of $50 ends today so I hope I get some replies

anyone? instead of foxconn maybe a sub $100 motherboard for
the dual core cpus that will overclock?

thats a pretty good deal on the p35A, I am tempted to get it, depending on the features. I've been looking for a board and it has the same chipset as the other one I was looking at.

I bought the Foxconn, thanks for posting the link, it had all the features I wanted. if you want raid support, its not for you, I personally do not use raid on my home PCs
