My mbo fried - which one should i get? :)

Heya folks.


Here is the thing. My abit ip35 died a slow death Was playing Crysis, went to the bathroom, went back...and the computer was dead
And it all happened on Xmas eve! For god's sake

So now i need a new mbo. I see lot of people talking about x38 chipset...so i was wondering what mbo would you reccomend for ocing?

my specs:

8800gts 320mb
2x1gb crucial ballistix 800mhz
620w corsair psu
intel core 2 duo e6750
thermalright ultra 120 extreme cooler
antec gaming case

So peeps should i go for another p35 chipset or should i use the new x38 chipset? I dont need sli or crossfire. Was looking at gigabyte p35 - ds4 mbo...looks good. One question about the boards...can i use my current air cooler with that one cause the mbo has some passive cooling on NB and near the cpu. so i really dunno if the cpu cooler would fit on it.
