Just bought a brand new microphone and the volume is very low. I set the volume to high on the actual headset, and then in Vista configured it so thier was mic boost and the mic volume was at 100%.
I could barely hear myself.
Also on a side note the microphone jack does not work on the back of my motherboard only on the front ports.
