Hey guys , my buddy has an Asus V3800 TNT card. He is using it in a system with a Asus P3VX4 mobo , 256 ram and a PIII733.

He just bought a couple of new games, Formula 2001 and noticed gameplay was a bit choppy, he is not super adept in tweaking yet but he is learning. I told him to get his a** to this forum and lots of us can help him out as he is across the country from me.

What would his best tweaking tool be, and what would be the best driver for him to install.

I suggested gameplay at 1024x768 16 bit color, to see how it works. To date he has been surfing net at 800x600.

Please post links I would appreciate it for him , I am sure he will be surfing in shortly.

www.nvmax.com good prog for tweaking any Nvidia Videocard
www.reactorcritical.com good site for newest drivers and RivaTuner another good proggie

also the best way i think for him is to turn up the fsb on that cpu because he has a darn good mobo right there and a good ocing cpu.....i found that going from 600 to 700 made a big difference between my being able to play Serious Sam with a Rage Fury Pro and not being able to seeing as his card is a lot slower than the RageFury Pro i dunno what to say....except oc the snot out the cpu and video card....
