Gigabyte GA-6OXET

Rumours this board is discontinued and yet it seems like an OC's
dream board and it is still available....so anyone know why it is being discontinued? Would like to get one but would like to know first the scoop.....TIA

If it's discontinued it will take a few weeks to sell out. If you're serious about getting it, what's stopping you?

Probably wasn't kicking in enough profits to make the XET a viable option to sell. Meaning, few people realized this board was available, until it was too late, when this model started to catch on. That's my take on it.

Probably also got something to do with the fact that Intel is pushing the P4 so hard as a desktop processor....****es me off. You can still get the GA-60XET-C quite easily (they still make them), it's exactly the same board just without duel bios or Creative onboard sound (who cares? Makes the board cheaper anyway!)....
