how to departion a hd?

my hd is partitioned into 2 drives, but i didnt do this :rolleyes: .(but whatever)

what i want to know is how i get rid of the partitions and make it one drive?:)

Someone else posted this one a while back: boot disks and more.

Fdisk is the dos command I use, works with most partitions, even if it is an unrecognized type.

Just remove the old nad install the os: most new operating systems will partition and format as part of the install.

You can use a 98 boot disk and fdisk and then reformat in the XP install.

you might be able to use something like Partition Magic if you installed your XP on a FAT filesystem, but if you installed it on NTFS, you're sol, and you'll have to format.
