14 fps max in RTCW help!!!

i dunno what went wrong, all of the sudden my games are running very slow . i checked all of the fps settings and they are all set above 100 so any suggestions on what could be the culprit??

something is very wrong! try 16bit color first and see if the frames are still super slow. then reinstall dx and if that doesn't help I would switch drivers for the G2. which dets are you running?

im running the 21.83 drivers, any other drivers make my comp lock up and cant play games ect.

like last week i was playing the game fine at 800x 600 with all of the video settings on high, so the game looked awesome with framerate above 70 fps all the time. then last night went to play a level i liked and bam 14 fps max , but if i turn the vid settings all the way to low @ 640 x 480 it goes up to around 60 fps. but then the game looks crappy. im going to format and reinstall everything tonight so hopefully that works( i cant install some games cause i have an invaild vdd registry in Regedit) plus my parents have been on the comp messing with stuff and installing things on here so i just want a clean boot and start over. ill let yall know if it fixes everything.

the driver issue seems to be a real problem if you can't use any other drivers. I would boot into safe mode and install a diferent download of the drivers maybe they got corrupted or something.
