go with the sony, my friend has it and it's a nice crystal clear picture. although, 200 bucks more than the samsung is quite a bit. if price isn't a factor, go sony

Are these the only models you are considering?

I've got an Iiyama Vision Master Pro 452 19" and have to say it's probably the crispest monitor I've ever used. The colour definition is also excellent with my 3D Prophet 4500 graphics card.

It is quite pricey though, I paid approx £300 but I consider it money well spent.

The ViewSonic P95f is the clearest and richest monitor on the planet for your money with going over the $800 mark. It's a 19" monitor that does 1920x1440x32 with 77Hz.

1600x1200x32 @ 85Hz = :D

This tube is so clear that even at 1600x1200, you can actually see a square pixel in 3d, unlike other 19's which are blurry and the pixel just looks round.

Price = $789.99 CAN
= $499.99 US
