I Lowered My Cpu Temps 4c

With all the talk about the ALPHA lately got me thinking of lower my CPU temps. When I first installed the Alpha I did not give much thought about the spring pressure on the HS in relation to the CPU core. So tonight I removed the HS cleaned and reapplied ASll. I then added 2 nylon washers to each of the bolts that mount the HS to the MOBO. I then replaced the Delta 41 CFM fan with a 50 CFM Sunon fan. I put the Delta as an exhaust fan to replace the Sunon that is now on my HS. My case temps dropped to 24C and my loaded CPU is now at 41C. I am hoping that the temps come down some more once the ASll has a chance to settle in.

if you really want to drop you temps "and if your ears can take it" try using a (comair rotron) its a 6in fan with 235cfm.
I have 2 of them on my system "check my sig"
although it does sound like a Jet when I start it up, I never have a problem with heat....

did you add two more for a total of 12 on the four screws 1 you had plus two more. Or did you add to the total of 8 on the four screws so 1 +1 extra?
