they have this like every other week at B&M it has a 7200.10 in it. A good deal for people without frys near them though.

Off topic: BTW BossBorot would totally destroy Mazinger Z in a fight

Picked up two of these on Friday. Seems to be reasonably good read/write and is silent. I now have a new portable. :D

That's like getting a sale on the drive and a free enclosure as well, pretty sweet. Are the drives inside SATA or PATA? Also where is the warranty seal - can you open them up to use the drive internally or does that end up voiding the warranty?

What's up with all the sales forcing external drives for cheaper than we can even get bare drives on sale for? They must be trying to get rid of PATA/IDE drive stocks.

Wish I could afford this right now. Would work well as backup drive for my 400/320gb LVM storage.

what's with the funny stand and shape? looks like you better stay 2 meters away from it at all times, but with enough aerodynamic shape to stand straight if left on the wind ...at 12 degrees of the direction of the wind.

is there a drive, external, that is like 300-400GB, small enough to kinda fit in a pocket, priced at like $70-$80? :P
