8800GT 256MB vs 512MB

Is it worth spending the extra money for the 512MB version if you game at 1280x1024 resolution?

what about 1600x1200?

yes it's definatly worth it

the 256 performs with HALF the fps of the 512mb version in crysis, i'd rather spend the extra few bucks and get the 512mb version

At 1280x1024, the 256MB version is a decent buy. Anything above that, go with the 512.
