ok guys check this reading out from via's system monitor that came with my MOBO




ok now the resson i ask this is because at this time i have no thermal compond on (ordered some though) and also using a volcano 2 hsf which i bought for 30 bucks :( (yes i know i got riped off) and have about 3 system fans in there 1 blowing in from bottom and 2 out..

now could that reading be true because ive seen many people with higher readings and better fans.... and its not OC mine and theirs.. could it be that my room is just cold i get the same cpu temp with and without the side case on..

P.S i live in LA so its not to cold :D

Amazing your temps are so low with no thermal paste...BUT HEED MY ADVISE, GET TO RADIO SHACK ASAP AND GET SOME THERMAL COMPOUND, DONT WAIT FOR IT TO ARRIVE IN THE MAIL.
Even if your CPU die and Heatsink is perfectly lapped get some dang thermal paste on it.

You are extremely lucky you havent ruined your cpu.

Its an INTEL right? If it was an AMD it would be toast.



Seriously bro, head to Radio shack spend $2-3 dollars on some cheap thermal paste until whatever you ordered in the mail shows up. All the case fans in the world wont help you.

Just my .02 cents and I hope you get some thermal paste ASAP
