There seems something wrong with my new system the second time I reinstall the OS.
Everything works smoothly at startup and than it turns bad very fast. everything is very sluggish. Its been so long since I parted with my 1.5GB P4 and it always give me the flash light searching thing when I click on my computer or control panel. But i have never seem it again with my dual core system. I just can't believe it that I am getting the flash light searching thing again with my Q6600.
I am going to reinstall everything. somebody please give me some advise as how I should prepare the 2x500GB WD for OS install seeing how it is no longer out of the box new drive with no data at all.
what strept size should I use? 128k? what about the cluster size?
This is going to be the third OS reinstall with this new build by the way.
