Gateway MX 6446 CPU swap question?

I have a Gateway Mx6446 laptop with Turion MK 36 processor.Since its socket S1 and the AMD Turion 64 X2 is also a socket S1 is there any chance to swap a 64 x 2 in place of the MK 36. thanks

It would probably fit, but the BIOS may not support it.

And also the Turion's use less wattage than the X2's so power supply size may be anothe concern.
