Hi!
I don't overclock my GPU (8800GTS512) but I o/c my system a bit from 2.33 to 3.03 (C2D6550)
I notice that when I overclock my system and memory a lot the colors in games look different- like they're neon or something. Green is neon green, red is way too red... the lighting effects are too strong and blinding... weird stuff...
I also notice decreased texture quality when I overclock my system- even though nothing has been changed on the GPU and the PCIx16 bus is locked @ 100mHZ...
What would cause this?
Thank you.

Sounds like your overclock is not stable. Run Othros (min 4 hrs) and MemTest (from a bootable CD) for atleast 2 loops.

MemTest:

That is where I get mine. Get the ISO of MemTest and NOT the one that runs in Windows. You will need a burner and blank CD.

Thanks for your help :)
So Orthos I leave running while I sleep I guess..
and the memtest one- can I burn it to DVD instead of CD? Doesnt matter right? I just burn it as a bootable CD in Roxio then boot from CD? That's it?
Thanks a lot !!

Thanks a lot !!Shouldn't matter what you burn it to. And yes. Make sure it is set to "bootable".

Do the games work properly?
If not, run MemTest...
