Im thinking of building my own cooling system to see how far i can push my Q6600. Just got a little issue im trying to hammer out i already have blue prints of the cooling system i might use however im wondering...

which is better? Liquid Nitrogen, or Dry ice? and how long will this last before i have to refuel the cooling system?

cheers

Liquid nitrogen is colder and harder to use, dry ice is easier to learn how to work with, and not as cold. Both will need constant refueling.

And for dry ice typically at an ice cream distributor believe it or not.

As far as refueling with dice maybe 5-10 minutes for a reload depending on the CPU load, and LN2 its pretty constant, maybe every 1-2 minutes.
