I still hope HD DVD can comeback and dominate the field but it keeps looking worse and worse for them. My small HD DVD collection could wind up still born if this trend continues.

Apparently Paramount and Disney (the two still with HDDVD, correct?) are using a clause to get out of their $150m deal and more over to blu-ray.

I'm very happy with my PS3 and bluray, not to mention it folds for me too :P I think Bluray will come out ahead.

I guess the rumor has ended... Oh well, another few months of war, I'll just keep buying my blurays until then :)

I second that, and I always preferred BR, better for backups, if I have to buy new Hardware would rather choose the future proof format.
