So far I have purchased a p5e X38 MB, (1)Saphire HD3870 ( got tired of waiting for the HD 3870X2, 320GB Western Digital Caviar SE, and most importantly the Q6600 but the problem lies in what ram to buy.
I have full intentions of overclocking and after reading some reviews I am not sure which ram to buy. I see alot of ppl just using PC 6400 and overclocking the CPU only.
Is it worth getting faster ram on DDR2?
The Q6600 runs 1066 FSB but is it worth the money to have it run 1/1?
What ram would you suggest on this setup since I have no clue on which way to go with this?
I will be using XP Pro since Vista hasn't impressed me yet ( call me hard headed but don't call me late for supper).
It will be used for mostly gaming but DX9 suits me fine ( for the moment).
