My 1600 came today, AGKGA Y, looks good. Put in my new 8KHA+, moved my drives over, got it running, but the temp doesnt look so good. I have a compunurse up against the side of the core, with a glaciator. MBM says the cpu is 39C, mobo 25C, but the compunurse stays around 50C on the cpu, even with a case temp of 25 (another compunurse on the enermax temp display). Well on my chip that works out to a C/W of about .38. This cant be right with a glaciator. going by MBM, my C/W is .22, but I dont think I can trust that. I rechecked that the probe wasnt between the cpu and hsf, I dont think thats the problem, anyone have any ideas? I'll probly take the hsf off and reapply ASII and check everything again.

How about a little more info. Case fans front and back? CFM of all fans? Are these temps loaded?

its idle.

My case fan setup shouldnt really matter, as I said it's 25C at the HSF intake. But if you must know, I have a 120 intake with a duct through my bezel, an 80 and a 120 out, plus the PSU. Oh, all panaflos.

70 cfm in
70+ ~25 + ~25 out

I have another 120 L1A on the way, its going over the PCI slots to equal out the pressure.
