So i moved back into my own room (where my computer belongs) instead of on the 37' HDTV because i got tired of waiting till 10 or 11 at night to use my pc because my parents dont go to bed. So now im back on my Dell E207WFP, and its native is 1680x1050, i havent noticed a significant hit going form 1366x768 to this resolution accept for in one game, Tom Clancys Rainbow Six Vegas... This game just absolutely runs like feces...i have it all maxed out and on occasion not all the time the game would just bog down to 20fps or lower and i just cant play that game with a low fps. But its odd, I can play Crysis on very high settings 1680x1050 no AA and i get a very playable 40-50 and 35-45 under heavy combat. I sure hope Rainbow Six Vegas isnt more graphical than Crysis lol.

Thats very weird, I play COD4 on my 22" at 1680x1050 on max settings and AA and it runs very smooth.
I wouldn't expect Rainbow six vegas would be more graphically intensive than COD4 because I played it before and it doesn't look that amazing.
Is somthing running in your background bogging down your resources?

Have you checked the forums for R6 Vegas yet? I've heard of other folks having bad performance issues with that particular game.
Yeah, R6:V has some serious problems with performance, even on the best of machines sometimes.

ya its weird, i play CoD 4 1680x1050 max settings full AA full AF and i get 60 fps constant during online play. I wonder if there is a fix for this game.

does anyone know if there is a fix for Rainbow 6 Vegas? Its to the point i dont want to play anymore its so bad. Its only in certain spots, other spots it shoots up too 60 fps and stays there.
