Right.

You have to jump an ATX PSU. What you can do is take your powersupply, disconnect everything from it (motherboard, videocard and HDDs are the big ones, the rest don't technically matter but might as well), plug in your pump into it, make sure the pump is primed, then plug in the PSU. After it's in, switch it on if there is a switch, then take a wire, paperclip, etc, and short the green wire to any black wire on the ATX connector. You can stick one end of a paperclip into the green wire and the other end of the paperclip on the case even, but it's easier to just bend it to go into two pins on the ATX connector, leaving both of your hands free.

Yeah, easy way it to plug your pump into the PSU, take a paper clip, locat ethe green wire right near the front center of the 24 pin connector, and jump that wire to the black wire next to it using the paper clip. Plug the PSU in, and then use the toggle switch on back to to turn on/off the system.

FYI, you can do this with the PSU installed in your case, HOWEVER, do not have anything other than the pump and fans plugged into it.

As for testing the leaks themselves, typical places they occur is where the barbs meet the blocks. Wrap some paper towels around the barb areas and after you fill the system let it run for a little while (half hour to an hour is usually good enough). Remove the paper towels, see if you have any wet spots, if you do, tighten down any hose clamps, or barbs that might be the culprit, and go back to square one.

Lol Snake and I must have hit submit at the same time.

That's how I fill/check all my systems. It's easy. Plus, being able to toggle the pump on and off makes filling easier.

Remove your mobo 20 or 24 pin connector and jump like this picture shows.
