Step up??? 8800gtx to 8800Gts G92?

well i have 7 days left to step up from my 8800gtx to a 8800gts G92.


Wanted to know if its worth it or not.

I want to do it cause i can get the clockings probably ALLOT higher than what this card can do. but im worried about the video ram.

i play games at 1680x1050 and i know crysis will take a blow with only 512 video ram. i play cod4 online, ut3, bf2142, bf2, crysis online, tf2 online

i know cod4 online uses around 600 mb of video ram (found out from rivatuner)


is it a bad idea to go for the gts??

do you see any hold backs in games like crysis or cod4??

i know that i can always turn down the AA in other games like cod4 and such. crysis i dont play with aa but still will use allot of video ram.

i just dont want to get rid of this card cause it dose well with the games i play. i dont want to end up getting the 8800gts and regret losing the video ram
