my games do not run at the maximum screen size. Why is that?

perhaps they are running in a different resolution than your normal desktop?

Say you run your desktop at 1024x768, and play a game which defaults to 800x600, the new resolution hasn't been set on your monitor yet.

Easy fix.......

Set your resolution to each setting, and adjust screen size and position for each setting. Then run the game....should be fine after.

Thank you!!! Your right, I do run my desktop at a different resolution then my games. I have been wanting a new video card so I can run games at higher res...guess now I have a good reason to try to convince my parents to let me buy one!!!
