Newegg link to p5k deluxe (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813131182)

"2 x PCI-E x16 (blue @ x16 mode, black @ x4 or x1 mode)"

That is a little confusing to me. It says "2 x PCI-E x16" , but goes to say, "blue @ x16 mode, black @ x4 or x1 mode."

So does that black support x16 or not? Can I put my single card in either slot with no performance loss?

Crossfire is looking more and more of an option in my future, will this board be gimped if I run two cards in CF?

it means that physically it is a 16x slot however it can only work at 4x or 1x. All p35 have this problem in that the second card for crossfire only will work at 4x instead of 16. If you want crossfire and want both to run at 16x then get a x38 mobo gigabyte makes one for 200 or so.

Damn! oh well. Will 4x be enough for CF?

Its not as good as it would be with two full 16X slots but it works just fine, note that is what I am using in my PC.
