I asked in a different forum. Just looking for a wide variety of answers. If interested in other thread: http://forums.techpowerup.com/showthread.php?t=49407 (Here)

The RAM I ordered is OCZ Gold XTC PC2-6400 2GB 2X1GB DDR2-800 CL5-5-5-12 http://www.ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=18495&vpn=OCZ2G8002GK&manufacture=OCZ%20Technology&promoid=1019 (Here)

The motherboard will be a P35 DS3L
------------------------------------------------------
Next time I buy RAM, how can I find out which type of chips will be used in the product I buy? Is there a website that has an entire database?

1. I am starting to worry now because I've been reading that using up all the memory banks on any motherboard is not a good idea, especially for overclocking. If I don't plan on running the RAM over 800 Mhz, does this statement still matter to me?

For example: Setting my RAM Divider to 1:1 would have me at DDR2 400 mhz without an overclock.

2a. If I OC to 10x333 my RAM will be underclocked to DDR2 667. Would having the RAM speed underclocked reduce the stress on my MOBO's memory controller?

2b. Should I even bother worrying about the stress on the "Memory controller" ?

3. And since the RAM frequency is underclocked, does that mean I could further tighten the RAM timings?
