Question with playing full screen onto T.V?

My bro has a Geforce 2 MX200 *please don't hate me for it*. And when we watch DVDs or .mpgs on the T.V it isnt' full screen. It looks okay but its cropped about 1" or a bit more from both left and right sides. So the screen looks elongated. Any way I can fix this? Any video card that can do this? I tried tweaking with the settings but to no avail. Anyone know how to fix this?

Did you try changing the res.?
I have two options 640x480 or 800x600, my old Viper550 had the same problem never found out how to fix it.
You could also try changing from NTSC to PAL or vice versa (If your TV supports it).

Agree, check PAL/NTSC. Also, there should be some controls to move the pic somewhat, and also an option to use "overscan" You will loose some of the picture "out the sides" of the TV, but at least it will be fullscreen. Also test different resolutions and possibly also different color depth. Different drivers might help as well...
