IIRC computers can do this far easier then most dvd players as computers dont default to ntsc or pal unlike some regional dvd players do. You should be able to just stick it in and have it play normally right away but if that doesnt happen it should be easy enough to get it to work. If the computer drive is regional you can switch the region with software relatively easily. Also if you dont want to mess with changing regions on the dvd player itself if it doesnt work right away you can convert the raw file to ntsc using vlc player (http://www.jakeludington.com/dvd_hacks/20061125_convert_pal_dvd_for_pc_playback.html).

A PC will play either without prejudice...but I've only ever owned one DVD player that wouldn't play PAL and it was extremely cheap (wouldn't play DVD-Rs either).

Only issue is going to be that you'll prolly need to change the region for your DVD drive, and you can only do that 5 times. It's stupid, but that's how it is.

I'd recommend looking for a region-free hack for your DVD drive, to save some trouble in the future, especially if you're planning to watch any more DVDs from other regions.

dvd rom drive. When I installed my external dvd burner it asked for my region and said i could change it 5 times like he said. Im not sure if this ishardware or software baised or if it isjust some cases or all. Regardless it might happen to you like both he and I said earlier
