When the Ge-Force 4 hits shelves early Spring, ATI will need something to balance out the performance gap.
Since they already have the 8800 GL series Radeon, I dont see why they wouldnt just bring out the rest for the Home Radeon series i.e- Radeon 8800.
Radeon8500
275MHz Core
550MHz Memory (64MB)
Radeon8700
290MHz Core
575MHz Memory (64MB)
Radeon8800
300MHz Core
600MHz Memory (128MB)
Nvidia's GeForce 4 is supposed to contain the Titanium marketing sheme.
Ge-Force 4 Ti 1000
333MHz GPU
666MHz Memory (128MB)
Ge-Force 4 Ti 500
300MHz GPU
600MHz Memory (64MB)
The geforce 4 stuff is still rumors and probally isnt 100% accurate but then again, Nvidia is promising 300MHz+ on the high end of the series when it is to debut so I'm just guessing that 333MHz will be plenty.
