By now many of you know I bought an AOpen GF2 Ti recently (cheap - www.mwave.com). Part of the appeal, besides the price, was the GPU BIOS tweaking ability.
I'm not convinced it exists. Apparently, you just need to hit the 'Insert' key during post to access the GPU BIOS. You're supposed to be able to tweak the core voltage, clocks, and some other amazing shiznit. Not working on my Epox 8k7a+, not at all. I'm thinking it's because the keyboard doesn't become active till too late during startup, but that's just a guess.
I'm beginning to believe that no one here has or ever will have this particular card, but it's the only one I know of that *should* let you change the core voltage without a hassle.
Any help out there? Haven't tried this card in any other system to see if different mobos make a difference ... That's on the short list though.
