Hi
I have a Leadtek Winfast GeForce 2 Pro 64 DDR and I have a little problm with it. In some games, like SWAT 3, Arcanum, Evil Islands or Sea Dogs and others the screen flashes a bit, the sound is erratic and the cursos leaves a black square behind in the game menu. In the game everithing is ok, but sometimes, the screen flashes a bit during a milisecond. I use the retail drivers from Leadtek, I have tried with the detonator and the things are worse (more flashes, more sound erratic) and I also use DirectX 8.1. The mother board is a QDI Advance 10F and the processor is an Intel PIII1000. I usw Windows 98 and Linux (of course, in Linux I have no problem with the games like Myth II or Unreal Tournament). Do you know what is wrong?

It's a file with some bios info. Do you know how to write the complete bios info to a file?. If not Ill have to write manually :-(

Thanks

I know the AGP Driving Control is on AUTO but what is the value? This might sound left field but are you O/Ced, CPU or GPU/MEM?

Try setting agp appature to 64,I have found some boxes just dont work well at 128 for some reason.

AGP control is auto because if I select "manual" I have to key in a HEx Number between 0000 and 00FF. I don't know which are the values the Mainboard is using.
I have disabled the FAST WRITE AGP and the problem continues. The same with AGP Apperture to 64. I think that it must be a "software" problem, but I have reinstalled Windows 98 and formatted 123.232 times more than usual ;-).
In Linux I have not this problem.

Thanks for all.

When on AUTO the value is greyed out but you can usually make it out. Sometime it's set at EA & setting it a step higher to DA can solve some issues but if your unsure about this DO NOT try it out. Have you been here (http://www.geforcefaq.com/faq.cgi)? They got a few suggestions that you might want to take a look at:beer:
