Whelp with my le im getting 3079 sometimes higher
with that oem 7500 clocked at retail 7500 speeds i get 2900 at stock and at retail 3400 tops.....
What is up with that?? I am using the driver they sent with the card but unfortunately it refuses to update to the newer driver, can it be that hyper z or some other needed software feature is disabled?

download newest driver from ATI site, then boot into safe mode and uninstall the current driver, then uninstall the video card itself, then install the one you just downloaded...

What OS are you using? Your score is a bit low as you thought. You need to get onto some newer drivers. The card will take newer drivers you just need to go about installing them a different way probably.
I used a beta driver that is for the 8500 and 8500LE and it improved my score in 3D Mark2K1 but not as much as I had hoped so I have gone back to Omega's most recent XP driver.
Here are some links for drivers.

Extract the driver files to a folder then use update driver feature if you are suing XP, choose folder where files are windows will recognize the install file. Thats how it worked for me in XP , The Omega drivers are just an exe file so it may be the easiest for you. Tyr them they give good performance. You should be gettting into the low 4000 range at least.

4000?
Gees. I'm going to download those drivers and see if i can get better scores. I'm going more like 3800 or something like that with my 7500.
How can you tell if hyperz is activated or not?
