what free program can i use to benchmark my new amd athlon xp 1900+!!!!!!!!!! If anyone tells me i will pos the bench marks asap but right now i have ti runnin at 142x12 which is 100 mhz over than it normaly is!!!!!

ok i got this sisoft thing now and it blew all other cpus away but how do i take a screen shot of the bench mark?

Just hit Alt+Print screen button on the window u want to catch, then goto paint and press Ctrl+V (to paste)... save it as a file and convert to JPG or GIF (prefered GIF, smaller) w/ ACDSee or something like it, and post it!

yeah i am in the process of over clocking right now and i did 145x12 and that is 1740 and when it booted it said 1800mhz

ok the only stable cool over clock i could do is 145 x12 @1.825 volts
so here is the bench mark at that

nice :) the best i can get out of my xp is 1.6ghz (160x10) but thats fine with me since mine is only a 1500+(1.33ghz)

yeah i have a pretty good steping i think... anyway i had to take it down to 1.5 for now because i didnt like the tempratures i was getting... but soon i will get water cooling and probly be able to push a lil further yet

yeah that is why i cant go any higher either i was using a copper sk6 with ystech 40cfm but now i have to use the stock heatsink with my ystech 40cfm on it! IT REALLY SUCKS!!!

yeah what kind of water cooling are you planning on using cause my friend i know has a grave yard of mother boards in his back yard from spiringing leaks

oh yeah i 4got to tell ya if u save the image as a jpg it will be alot smaller and they will accualy display it instead of makeing everyone dl it

does it plug into the power supply or into the wall socket?
ooh yeah when you get make sure you have nice air flow wthorugh your computer to keep all of the humidity out and run it for like 3 days to make sure it doesnt leek before you install your mother board and other componets

hey Bobt17, do you have any Sandra benchies of your XP1500? Our rigs are the same except the mobo (8KHA+ here)....

Have you OC'd it yet? Mine is up to 1557MHz on the FSB alone...

dude yeah i have over clocked read the higher posts and i am at 1540 145x12

would be runnin higher but i am stuck at that cause of my cooling levels until i get a new clip for my sk6 ill be here awhile

I use Adobe to convert the .bmp to .jpg for better picture quality than Irfanview but it's free so who really cares:beer: Click on this (http://www.irfanview.com/).

well i downloaded the SiSoft Sandra 2001te Standardand it has like xxp1600+ but that is the highest you need to buy it to get the p4 2.0ghz and athlon xp 1900+
